Patient\'s duties
At the Remedios Clinic every patient must:
- Try to care for his/her health and the health of his/her community. (Article 49 of the National Constitution).
- Show up on time to the appointments and procedures on the dates and times scheduled.
- Give a 24 hour notice specifying the reason the person will not attend the appointment or procedure.
- Supply truthful, clear and complete information about his/her current state of health and inform the medical personnel about any alterations in his/her condition.
- Take care of and make proper use of resources, installations, equipment and services.
- Treat the human staff taking care of you with dignity, respect and courtesy and respect other patient's intimacy.
- Respect the goods, and also political and religious beliefs of other patients and of those caring for him/her.
- Follow treatments and the instructions given by the health personnel for his/her physical and psychological welfare (take the right amounts of medication on the recommended schedules and follow the suggested diets), follow the prevention dispositions (hygienic habits: cut fingernails, daily bath, brush teeth) to minimize risk factors.
- Make the corresponding payments with the cashier according to the quotes received and the mandatory payments due.
- Comply with the regulations established by the institution such as: Restriction to visits by children under 12, no animals alcoholic beverages, weapons or any type of items considered dangerous to the safety of users and hospital staff are allowed. Follow the established visitation schedules and avoid restricted areas.
- Refrain from smoking inside the clinic.
