What is a Mini-Gastric Bypass?

It is a surgical procedure for persons with morbid obesity and a corporal mass greater than 35 kilograms per square meter.  It is not an aesthetic but a functional surgery and for this reason the patient must undergo medical checks prior to the operation.

Who is eligible for this surgery?

This surgery is recommended for:

  • Persons between 18 and 60 years old.
  • People who have a history of failures with other medical treatments.
  • Those who have morbid obesity, a corporal mass greater than 35 kilograms per square meter.
