Surgery service of Clínica Nuestra Señora de los Remedios is handled by professional staff from a variety of medical specialties, in addition to nurses and surgical ward assistants, on duty 24 hours a day. Our commitment is to provide high quality services.

Infrastructure and technology

We have eight surgical wards equipped with modern anesthesia units, monitors that include invasive functions, an image magnifier, a state of the art microscope and instrumentation for all types of surgeries. We also have special refrigeration units to store bone grafts and a sterilization center with state of the art autoclaves

Pre-surgical interview

What is it?

As its name implies, it deals with a conversation conducted prior to the surgery with the purpose of establishing if the patient is fit to undergo surgical intervention. During this stage we check aspects such as:

Conducting all medical exams required by the treating physician.
Verifying that all necessary precautions are taken before performing an operation, such as having blood reserves, and all precautions set forth in the existing medical protocols or standards for the various surgeries.
Hygiene, eating and dress recommendations.
Coverage rights according to the patient’s health entity.
Dispelling patient’s doubts and concerns, so that he/she is better prepared, physically, psychologically and emotionally for the surgery.

Follow up at home

Clínica Nuestra Señora de los Remedios is known for the physical and spiritual care it provides the sick.
